Verda Mae McNair, 94, of Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2021 at Ascencion St. Vincent's Hospital in Clay County, Florida.
She was born in Du Quoin, Illinois, daughter of the late Ludwig and Mary Katherine Emling, and had resided in Green Cove Springs for the past four years. She was the associate owner of a driving school until her retirement. Verda attended Switzerland Community Church for several years.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Hugh McNair, of Green Cove Springs; a daughter, Judy Camero of Dunkirk, Maryland; a stepson, James McNair of Maine; a sister, Joan Coleman of Flora, Illinois; a granddaughter, Treasure; a great-granddaughter, Memory; seven step-grandchildren, 14 step-great-grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Fred Meyer.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home in St. Augustine, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
