Wilma Sue Pulliam of Harrisburg went to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021.

Wilma was born Aug. 9, 1932 in Eldorado to William and Mary Whyte. She married Lester Ray Pulliam on Aug. 25, 1951.

She was employed at Carp's Department Store and the Ben Franklin store in Harrisburg for many years. She enjoyed flowers, birds, collecting dolls, sewing, and baking. Her chocolate chip cookies were a favorite of family and friends.

Wilma was a member of McKinley Avenue Baptist Church and greatly enjoyed her Sunday school class.

Wilma was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Lester Ray; son Donald Pulliam and wife Joni of Harrisburg; son David Pulliam of Eldorado; granddaughter, Tiffany Horn and husband Jason of Haubstadt, Indiana; granddaughter, Jordana Scher and husband Ricky of College Station, Texas; and four great-grandchildren, Jaci Paige Horn, Kendon Horn, Holden Scher and Henry Scher.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Whyte, and her twin sister, Wanda Lou Bull.

Private services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mended Little Hearts of Evansville, P.O. Box 4703, Evansville, Indiana 47724.

Wilma's great-grandson, Kendon Horn, was one of many little heart patients helped by this service.
