Mr. Ezra Lee Miller, 90, of Carbondale, died Oct. 30, 2020.
He was born April 16, 1930, in Kewanee, Mo., to Levert and Bethel (Mays) Miller. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He married Ida Mae (Gatewood) Nov. 25, 1959. Daughter Faith debuted in October 1960, followed by Lynette in December 1961. From 1956 to 1979, they lived in Chicago. They relocated to Carbondale in 1979. He retired from the SIU physical plant in 2000.
Services are pending. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois, the American Cancer Society, the SIH Cancer Center, or the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church Sunday School.
