Jerry Lee Crowder, 77, of Harrisburg, died at 9:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 at Marion VA Nursing Home.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019 at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills.
Visitation will be held before the service, from 10-11 a.m.
Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery with military rites performed by the Carrier Mills American Legion, Harrisburg American Legion and the Army National Guard Ritual Team.
Jerry was born on Jan. 16, 1942 in Harrisburg to the late Ferrell and Thelma (Doolin) Crowder.
He was an Army veteran, who served as a medic during the Berlin Crisis.
Jerry worked many years as a supervisor at the Pontiac State Hospital until his retirement. He was also a lifetime member of the Harrisburg VFW.
He is survived by a brother, Ron Crowder of Carrier Mills; sister, Sue Beltz of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bill Crowder and Glendal Crowder.
