HARRISBURG -- Hazel Kathleen "Kathy" Moss, 56, formerly of Karnak, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, in Harrisburg Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 3, 1961, in Alton and graduated from Century High School in Ullin. Kathy was employed at Saline Care and Rehabilitation Center in Harrisburg.
Survivors include her son, David and Misty Moss of Clarksville, Tennessee; three daughters, Katricia and Joey Lawson of Creal Springs and Jessica Givens and Rshonda Givens, both of Harrisburg; her significant other, Robert Givens of Harrisburg; two brothers, Randy and Rebecca Moss of Grand Chain and Thomas Moss of Metropolis; sister, Janet and Kenneth Hastings of Brookport; three grandsons, Kyelar Moss, Kenneth Lawson and Joshua Lawson; and two granddaughters, Briley Edwards and Kayla Lawson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Edna Black Hayes; two sisters, Sharon Moss and Susie Jones; and two brothers, Joe Moss and Homer Moss.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, in Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak with the Rev. Dean West officiating. Interment will follow in Cypress Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 8, at the funeral home.
