4-H Small Pets Show results
The Saline County 4-H Small Pets Show was held on July 25 at the Saline County Fairgrounds. We want to thank the judge Jessica Richey and the show superintendent Amy Richey for organizing the show. The county champion for Small Pets 3 was Courtney Boulds with her pet rabbit. Congratulations!

4-H Crops Show
4-H Crops exhibitors showed their best from the fields to judge Patrick Anderson and assistant Tammy Grant on July 25 at the Saline County 4-H Crops Show. The county champion for Hay/Pasture Production was David Heath. State Fair ribbons for crops projects were earned by Trevor Hale for both his Soybeans project and his Corn project. Drake Wilson earned a State Fair ribbon for his Small Grains project. Tristen Hale earned a State Fair Alternate ribbon for his Soybeans project. Davis Evans earned a State Fair Alternate ribbon for his Corn Project. Congratulations to all our Crops exhibitors!

4-H Poultry Show results
The Saline County 4-H Poultry Show was a bit different this year due to restrictions put in place by the Department of Agriculture to mitigate cases of Avian Flu. Exhibitors could not bring live birds to the show, but instead took pictures and made poster displays of their animals. Clean, washed, unfertilized eggs were allowed for display in the Egg Production class. Thank you to Show Superintendent Amy Richey and Judge Marisa Davis. County Champion ribbons were awarded to Raylan Murphy (Standard Chickens), Brileigh Owens (Geese), Marissa Cullers (Other Poultry -- Quail), and Raylan Murphy (Egg Production). Congratulation to all the exhibitors!
