The Du Quoin Ministerial Alliance will host the "Journey to the Cross" luncheons again during the Lenten season. Luncheons will be followed by a time of singing, prayer and a short devotion. All events start at noon. The schedule is:
• Friday, March 11, at Liberty Church, 680 W. Main St., Du Quoin.
• Friday, March 18, at First Baptist Church, 104 N. Washington St.
• Friday, March 25, First Christian Church, 312 E. Main St.
• Friday, April 1, at Sunfield United Methodist Church.
• Friday, April 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 100 W. Main St.
The Community Good Friday Service will be held at 7 p.m. on April 15 at Liberty Church.
