WILLIAMSON COUNTY -- Youth ages 10 to 15 are invited to a free Waterfowl Workshop and Hunt.
Crab Orchard Waterfowl Association and Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge will be offering their third annual Youth Waterfowl Hunt and Workshop. The hunt will take place on the Dec. 18.
Hunters must have a valid hunting license to participate.
The Waterfowl Hunting Workshop will take place on Friday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. at Bennie's Italian Foods in Marion.
The workshop will include a free T-shirt, firearm and boating safety, waterfowl identification, duck and goose calling demonstration by Hunter Grounds, gear selection, wildlife conservation law, and a drawing for blind selection and meeting their mentors.
Dinner will be provided. One parent or guardian must also attend the workshop.
