MARION -- A block party offering job connections and counseling services is set for 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday on Sherman Drive.

Employers looking to hire include the Franklin County Detention Center, which is short-staffed, Henry said. Other organizations reaching out include Centerstone, the Women's Center, 4-H and Man-Tra-Con Corp.
