MARION -- This Thursday, Sept. 9, will be Marion Community Night at Rent One Park.
The evening will be a celebration of Marion talent with several groups performing between innings.
Marion Mayor Mike Absher will perform the national anthem and Olympian Darryl Sullivan will throw out the first pitch. The Marion High School cheerleaders will provide gate entertainment and the Marion Chamber of Commerce's "Of the Year" award recipients for 2020 will be on the big screen.
Organizers are still looking for "Little Luckies' to take part in the game. Children age 5-8 are welcome to take part, please contact Cody Moake for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org.
