JC Lady Indians capture 2A regional crown

JOHNSTON CITY -- Mia Basenberg's sixth inning home run was icing on the cake for the Johnston City Lady Indians who secured the 2A Regional championship at home against Carmi-White County on Saturday. Johnston City put two runs on the board when Emma Moake doubled in Madison Weber before scoring on a sacrifice fly, sealing the fate of the game. The Lady Indians will face Trico in Campbell Hill today at 4:30 in the sectional finals.
