PITTSBURG -- Two of the few contested races in Williamson County took place in the Village of Pittsburg.
In the race for Village President, Keith Violett won easily over challenger Joseph Taylor.
Violett captured 102 votes to Taylor's 43,
In a race almost too close to call, five candidates were vying for three spots as Village Trustee.
Jesse Davis led all candidates with 82 votes, followed by Jerry "Scott" Cutsinger with 68, Stanly Serati with 67, Chris Sullivan with 66 and Isaac Phipps with 56.
Williamson County Clerk Amanda Barnes said that it's possible a discover recount could be in order but she hasn't been directly approached at this time.
The votes will be certified on April 20 and any requests for a recount would need to be submitted within five days of that certification, said Barnes.
Only 233 ballots were cast in Tuesday's election in Pittsburg's two precincts, accounting for only 13 percent of the registered 1,697 voters.
