MARION -- There were a few lulls in activity, but the crews stayed busy on Saturday during the Boyton Street Community Center's chili fundraiser.

The annual dinner raises funds for the center's All-Star program.

Held as a drive through due to COVID-19, things were a bit different.

Part of the program requires that participating families volunteer to help at the center. In the past, the All-Star learn valuable "people" skills by seating patrons, taking orders, refilling food and drinks, and even clearing tables.

This year, the All-Stars were limited to the older kids who took orders and delivered them to the vehicles while supervised by board members and staff.

Around 200 orders of chili were served on Saturday.
