Just in time for the cold, wet, potentially snowy and icy weather, the Chester Area Christian Food Pantry received a new protective awning.

The structure was added to the front walkway of the building to provide volunteers with a covered overhang and sides to guard against inclement weather.

During the hot months of summer the sides are removable. The completed project was made possible by creative, hardworking volunteers at the pantry.
