A Franklin County man faces charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse after his arrest late last week.
Franklin County Sheriff David Bartoni says deputies arrested Arnold R. Saltsman, 52, of Ewing without incident during the early morning hours of Nov. 26 at his residence in rural Ewing.
Saltsman faces two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, class 2 felonies. Bartoni says the arrest was the result of a months-long investigation by detectives. Saltsman was held in the Franklin County Jail until he posted $150,000 bail later on the day of his arrest.
