As parents navigate what school will look like this fall with COVID-19, children enrolled in Southern Seven Head Start are learning new life skills that benefit others too. Here Mounds Head Start student Lily wears a mask while "Dr." Jeserius takes her temperature and asks his patient if she has a fever and sore throat. Upon entering the building, families enrolling their child in Head Start classes for this fall are given a wellness screening that includes a temperature check. As a result, children are paying attention and doing their part to keep themselves and others safe. Courtesy of Shawnna Rhine, COC & PIO/Southern Seven Health Department & Head Start
