PINCKNEYVILLE -- Pinckneyville Community Hospital announced last week that Kelsey Mueller, Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT), has joined the therapy team at Southern Illinois Rehabilitation.
A native of Washington County, Kelsey is thrilled to be working in Pinckneyville as she has truly loves and understands rural healthcare. "I like knowing that my patients can range from student-athletes to an individual recuperating from stroke, to a child correcting his or her stride," Mueller said.
"The addition of Kelsey really reflects the growth of our rehabilitation department," said Randall Dauby, CEO of Pinckneyville Community Hospital. "With the construction of our new Wellness Center projected to be completed this Spring, we are positioning ourselves to continue 'lead the way to a healthier tomorrow'."
Mueller completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Maryville University in 2015. Since graduation, she has been employed at Memorial Hospital East in Shiloh, where she evaluated, developed care plans, and treated patients in collaboration with speech and occupational therapy.
