Marion police search for jewelry store robbers

MARION -- The Marion Police Department is requesting assistance in attempting to identify the two suspects in a theft of Kay Jewelers (2700 DeYoung St.) that occurred on Sunday, April 22.

According to video surveillance retrieved from the scene, two black males entered Kay Jeweler at approximately 4 p.m. and requested to look at diamond earrings and wedding rings.

The suspects grabbed the jewelry and ran out of the store toward Burger King. The suspect in the gray hat is described as having his top row of teeth gold plated. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Marion Police Department at 618-993-2124.
