Perry County State's Attorney David H. Searby, Jr., has announced the following sentences to the Illinois Department of Corrections during the months of November and December.

Twenty-five-year-old Levi J. Diuguid, of Pinckneyville, was sentenced to 33 months in prison after having pleaded guilty to the offense of theft (Class 3 felony) on September 18, 2017. Diuguid is eligible for credit for time previously served and was also sentenced to a one-year mandatory supervised release period following a sentencing hearing on Nov. 20, 2017. The Pinckneyville Police Department handled the arrest and investigation.

Fifty-two-year-old Harvey J. Maze II, of Herrin, was sentenced to 29 months in prison after admitting to a probation violation for the offense of unlawful possession of methamphetamine (Class 3 felony) on Dec. 1. Maze is eligible for credit for time previously served and was also sentenced to a one-year mandatory supervised release period following a sentencing hearing on Dec. 1. The Perry County Sheriff's Office handled the arrest and investigation.

Twenty-year-old Michael L. Crane, of Du Quoin, was sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to the offenses of aggravated criminal sexual abuse (Class 2 felony) and indecent solicitation of a child (Class 3 felony) on Aug. 14. Crane is eligible for credit for time previously served and was also sentenced to two years of a mandatory supervised release period following a sentencing hearing on Dec. 1. The Du Quoin Police Department handled the arrest and investigation.

Thirty-four-year-old Joshua J. Woolard was sentenced to three years in prison after having pleaded guilty to the offense of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine (Class 2 felony) on Dec. 8. Woolard is eligible for credit for time previously served and was also sentenced to two years of a mandatory supervised release period to run concurrent with a sentence out of Randolph County. The Perry County Drug Task Force, comprised of the Du Quoin Police Department, Pinckneyville Police Department and Perry County Sheriff's Office, was responsible for the arrest and investigation.

Twenty-five-year-old Ashley N. Farrell, of Du Quoin, was sentenced to one year and four months in prison after admitting to a probation violation for the original offense of obstructing justice (Class 4 felony) on Dec. 8. Farrell is eligible for credit for time previously served and was also sentenced to a one-year mandatory supervised release period. The Perry County Sheriff's Office was responsible for the arrest and investigation.

Thirty-eight-year-old Gregory S. Partin, of Chester, was sentenced to two years in prison after admitting to a probation violation for the original offense of unlawful delivery of cannabis (Class 4 felony) on Dec. 12. Partin is eligible for credit for time previously served and was also sentenced to a one-year mandatory supervised release period to run concurrent with a sentence out of Randolph County. The Perry County Drug Task Force, comprised of the Du Quoin Police Department, Pinckneyville Police Department and Perry County Sheriff's Office, was responsible for the investigation.
