Autopsy results are pending for an an off-duty Perry County sheriff's deputy who died over the holiday weekend.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office reported Sunday that deputies discovered the body of 33-year-old Joshua Harsy at a rural Jackson County residence.
Deputies responded to the residence following a 911 call received around 2:51 a.m. Christmas Eve morning, according to a press release issued by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.
An investigation is ongoing, and no other details had been released as of deadline.
