The following incidents were obtained from Franklin County Sheriff Don Jones. Note that arrests, charges and citations are allegations only, not findings of guilt.

Nov. 7
• Deputies arrested Brienne E. Johnson, 23, of Du Quoin on a warrant for criminal trespass to state-supported property.

Nov. 8
• Deputies responded at 3:56 p.m. to a two-vehicle traffic crash on Rt. 37 at Marcum Branch Road. The investigation revealed that a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Barbara J. Tinker, 48, of Ewing was northbound on Rt. 37 and rear-ended a 2006 Ford Mustang driven by Carla D. Whittington, who was stopped in traffic while attempting to negotiate a left turn onto Marcum Branch Road. Whittington was uninjured. Tinker received non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital by Abbott EMS. Tinker was also cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
• Deputies arrested Shelly R. Clutts, 32, of West Frankfort for failure to appear on traffic charges.

Nov. 9
• Deputies arrested Anthia J. Mason, 28, of Benton for violation of probation.
• Deputies arrested Kyla E. Jones, 25, of Herrin for failure to appear for aggravated DUI.
• Deputies arrested Robert J. Roberts, 29, of Du Quoin for failure to appear on traffic charges.

Nov. 13
• Deputies responded at 2 p.m. to a reported disturbance in rural Thompsonville. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Christopher C. Deaton, 29, of Stonefort on a charge of obstructing a peace officer.

Nov. 14
• A deputy attempted a traffic stop at 10:48 a.m. in West Frankfort. The suspect initially fled, driving recklessly at high speeds, and the deputy terminated the pursuit. The investigation continued, and about two hours later the suspect's vehicle was located at a West Frankfort residence. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Bradley J. Braden, 33, of Elgin on charges of aggravated fleeing and attempting to elude, driving on a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a peace officer.

Nov. 15
• Deputies arrested Anthony J. Priest, 35, of Benton for failure to appear for aggravated battery.
• Deputies arrested Bradley W. Murphy, 26, of Benton for failure to appear for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

Nov. 16
• Deputies investigated a theft in Logan that resulted in the arrest of Donald L Singleton, 40, of Logan on charges of felony theft and felony possession of cannabis. Also arrested was Candice L. Singleton, 40, of Logan on charges of possession of a felony amount of cannabis and obstructing justice.

Nov. 17
• Deputies arrested Claudie E. Rickett, 36, of Murphysboro for failure to appear for domestic battery.
• Deputies arrested Jennifer A. Ware, 37, of West Frankfort for failure to appear on traffic charges.
• Deputies arrested Dave C. Bradley, 40, of West Frankfort for failure to appear on traffic charges.
• Deputies arrested Cyrstal L. Sutton, 26, of West Frankfort for failure to appear on traffic charges.

Nov. 18
• Deputies responded at 9:29 p.m. to a reported disturbance at the skating rink on Rt. 37 south of Benton. The investigation resulted in the arrest of David R. Pearson, 45, of West Frankfort on a charge of aggravated battery.

Nov. 19
• Deputies responded at 3:07 a.m. to a reported vehicle in a ditch on Rt. 14 in Buckner. The investigation resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old male on charges of felony driving under the influence, driving while license suspended and illegal consumption of alcohol. A passenger, Cody Arrowood, 18, of West Frankfort also was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol.

Nov. 20
• Deputies responded at 9:43 a.m. to a two-vehicle traffic crash on Rt. 154 east of Rend City Road. The investigation revealed that a 2014 Ford pickup driven by Derek M. Smith, 22, of Johnston City was eastbound on Rt. 154 and crossed into the westbound lane, forcing a westbound 2007 Mack truck driven by Steven D. Dale, 49, of Dowell to exit the right shoulder in order to avoid a collision. The Ford continued into the westbound lane and struck the rear axle of a dump trailer being towed by the Mack. The pickup continued off the north side, striking a guard rail and continuing across the highway before coming to a stop after impacting the guard rail on the south side. The driver of the Mack was uninjured, and the driver of the pickup received minor injuries but refused medical treatment. He was believed to have fallen asleep. He was cited for improper lane usage.

Nov. 21
• Deputies responded at 6:37 p.m. to a domestic dispute in rural West Frankfort that resulted in the arrest of Sarah C. Couture, 18, of West Frankfort on a charge of domestic battery.
• Deputies arrested Nathaniel M. Goldstein, 25, of St. Charles, Mo., on warrants for forgery and theft

Nov. 22
• Deputies arrested Mikaela G. Morris, 20, of Zeigler on a warrant for unlawful consumption of alcohol.
