Traffic tickets

Ordinance violations
Alisha Skurat, Cutler, was cited for allowing an animal to run at large. First appearance at 9 a.m. July 25.
Ashley R. Woodcock, Coulterville, was cited for negligent driving. First appearance at 9 a.m. Aug. 8.
Donald G. Lively, Cutler, was cited for allowing animals to run at large. First appearance at 9 a.m. July 25.
Mackenzie R. Vancil, Marion, was cited for duty of due care, speeding. First appearance at 9 a.m. Aug. 9.
Dakota W. Wheatley, Du Quoin, was cited for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. First appearance at 9 a.m. Aug. 9.
Samuel C. Huemann, Du Quoin, was cited for unlawful possession of cannabis. First appearance at 9 a.m. Aug. 9.
Joseph D. LIggett, Radom, was cited for unlawful consumption of alcohol and improper traffic lane usage. First appearance at 9 a.m. Sept. 13.
Cassie N. Andrade, Tamaroa, was cited for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. First appearance at 9 a.m. Sept. 13.

Felonies
Kristen L. Clevenger, Sesser, was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
Alexis R. Ruffino, Pinckneyville, was charged with defrauding drug and alcohol screening tests.
Seth M. Holt, Murphysboro, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Don E. Turner, Granite City, was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe, driving while license suspended, and speeding.
Steven J. Fred, Du Quoin, was charged with three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of an intoxicating compound, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Brandon M. Edwards, Tamaroa, was charged with criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.

Closed felonies
Caleb S. Williams, Tamaroa, pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He was ordered to pay $2,670 in total fines and costs and was sentenced to 64 days in the Perry County Jail.
Denise R. Melendez, Pinckneyville, pleadd guilty to the charge of domestic battery and was ordered to pay $1,450 in fines and costs. She was sentenced to 52 days in the Perry County Jail.
Christy M. Plumlee, Buckner, pleaded guilty to the charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and ordered to pay $2,450 in fines and costs. She was sentenced to 52 days in the Perry County Jail.
Eric R. Cathcart, Marissa, pleaded guilty to the charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to one year in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Misdemeanors
Levi J. Gall, Pinckneyville, was charged with obstructing a peace officer.
Drew G. Thompson, was charged with criminal damage to property.

Closed misdemeanors
Christopher L. Isenhart, Pinckneyville, pleaded guilty to the charge of obstruction of justice and was ordered to pay $2,050 in fines and costs.
Andria L. Fullinger, Chester, pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and was ordered to pay $1,000 in total fines and costs. Fullinger was sentenced to 34 days in the Perry County Jail.
Brieanne E. Johnson, Pinckneyville, pleaded guilty to a charge of resisting a peace officer and was ordered to pay $850 in fines and costs. She was sentenced to 24 days in the Perry County Jail.
James E. Bradford III, Granite City, pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and was ordered to pay $1,000 in total fines and costs.
Weastley T. Dent Jr., Sparta, pleaded guilty to a charge of battery and was ordered to pay $1,000 in fines and costs. Dent was sentenced to six days in the Perry County Jail.
