Four were arrested this week following action by the Perry County Drug Task Force.
Du Quoin Police Chief Jamie Ellermeyer announced Thursday that authorities have arrested Terry L. McCurdy, 38; Cortney M. Miller, 26; Lisa R. Dewar, 54; and Dorcas C. Penson, 39, all of Du Quoin.
McCurdy was wanted on a Perry County warrant for four counts of unlawful delivery of hydrocodone, a controlled substance. McCurdy was transported to the Perry County Jail, where he remained Thursday on $4,000 cash bond.
Miller was arrested on three counts of unlawful delivery of suboxone, also a controlled substance. Authorities allege Miller supplied prescription medication for sale illegally in Du Quoin. Miller was
transported to the Perry County Jail, where she remained Thursday on $3,000 cash bond.
Dewar was arrested on three counts of unlawful delivery of hydrocodne, which took place on federal
housing property. Dewar was transported to the Perry County Jail, where she remained Thursday on $4,000 cash bond.
Penson was arrested on a Perry County warrant for three counts of unlawful delivery of a hydrocodone. Penson also was transported to the Perry County Jail on $3,000 cash bond.
The Perry County Drug Task Force is made up of the Du Quoin Police Department, the Perry County Sheriff's Office and the Pinckneyville Police Department.
