6th League Championship!

The Du Quoin Swimming Indians ruled the pool in Mount Vernon Saturday takinb their sixth Southern Illinois Swim League championship title.
The scores were Du Quoin 566. Herrin 516.50, Salem 407, Marion 329, Mount Vernon 176, Anna 151 and Carbondale 42.50. Some of the Du Quoin records rewritten included:
Male 9-10 100m Freestyle Relay 1:10.18 (Henry Harsy, Isaac Teel, AJ Keith, Maddax Thompson). Old record was 1:11.68 set in 1987.
Boys 15-18 50m Butterfly :27.75 Paxton Higgerson improved on his previous mark.
Boys 15-18 100m I.M 1:03.40. Paxton Higgerson improved on his previous mark.
Girls 11-12  50m Breaststroke :37.62. Meesha Montgomery improved on her previous mark.
Girls 11-12 100m I.M. 1:11.47, Meesha Montgomery. Old record was 1:13.12 set by Olivia Cravens in 2015.
