Sadie's a good girl who wears her heart right on her forehead! She's good with other dogs, ignores our office cat, and would love to have an active family to play with all day.
She is so sweet and waits for you to walk with her when she's taken outside. Sadie is very eager to please, so we think she'd love to learn tricks and obedience commands. She just wants to make her humans happy!
Sadie's young (only about 8 months old) and came from a hoarding situation, so she can be a bit leery of new people sometimes. She warms up quickly, but she may need some extra time and space to decompress in her new home.
This girl is amazing, energetic, loving, and ready to go home! And who can say no to those big brown eyes?!
Please know that if you come to meet any of the dogs at our facility, they may be excited to see you and extra active. Many times, this is not a true picture of how they may act in a warm, safe home setting. We, as volunteers, often take our shelter dogs on home visits and they become calm and act like completely different animals. This pertains to bathroom habits and demeanor. Please realize that they need a chance to shine out of the shelter setting!
If you have specific questions about Sadie, email the shelter volunteer at firstname.lastname@example.org or go to www.perrycountyhumanesocietyil.com to apply.
