Four Pinckneyville Community High School students were presented with Youth Citizenship Medals by the Beaucoup Creek DAR Chapter.
The winner of the Good Citizen Award is senior Aubrey Bruns.
The other winners are junior Ben Restoff, sophomore Alexis Degler and freshman Sarah Restoff. The medals were presented by DAR representative Bettie Ashauer and were voted on by PCHS faculty and staff.
According to the National Daughters of the American Revolution, the underclass honors are based on qualities of honor, courage, and service to home, country and God.
The senior honor is based on dependability, service, leadership and patriotism in homes, schools and communities.
