Every September, The Center for Breast Health hosts a 'MammoThon' promoting the benefits of mammography to patients before the October scheduling rush.

Throughout September, employees at The Center called women who are overdue for their mammograms or women 40 and older who have never had this potentially life-saving test.

It all culminated on Friday at the Pink Out Game at Marion High School, where the Center was awarded a generous $4,000 donation from the MHS Athletic Activity Fund.

The funds will be used to make the patient waiting area more comfortable and for important, advanced staff training.
