The sign-ups are closed and 16 local homes are the contestants in this year's Christmas decorating contest. A mystery judge, who we are told doesn't live in Du Quoin, will assess all 16 homes and the winners will be announced after Thursday, Dec. 16.
Grand prize: $250 in gift certificates or certificates of your choice from a local Du Quoin business.
1st runner-up: $175 in gift certificates or certificates of your choice from a local Du Quoin business.
2nd runner-up: $125 in gift certificates or certificates of your choice from a local Du Quoin business.
3rd runner-up: $75 in gift certificates or certificates of your choice from a local Du Quoin business.
