A man was shot at 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of North Jackson Street in Harrisburg.
He suffered a chest wound and was transported to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. No information from the victim was available to Harrisburg Police Monday and Smith declined to name the victim. Doctors may allow detectives to interview him Tuesday, according to Chief Bob Smith. As of Monday, no arrests have been made.
Harrisburg Police are looking at two persons of interest, Smith said.
