Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir will join NBC Sports Group for its coverage of the Kentucky Derby, the network has announced.

The duo's figure skating analysis - as well as their outfits - earned much acclaim during the Sochi Olympics in February. Their entertaining rapport even earned them jobs as fashion critics forAccess Hollywood's coverage of the 2014 Oscars. Weir and Lipinski will put those skills to good use once again as fashion experts for the Derby on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3.
"Johnny and Tara have an infectious energy that will bring a fun and fresh perspective to our Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks telecasts," Coordinating Producer for NBC Sports Group Rob Hyland said in a statement. "They will be in their element amid the big-event atmosphere and pageantry of Churchill Downs."
