Three GateHouse properties combine offices

Three GateHouse Media Southern Illinois offices are now under one roof, at 35 S. Vine St., Harrisburg.

The Gallatin Democrat/Ridgway News and The Money Stretcher as of today have moved offices into the space long utilized by the Daily Register/Daily Journal.

The move will afford the staff of the three publications an opportunity to work together to more efficiently serve readers and advertisers in our multi-county region. The move will also save the company utility and maintenance costs of three offices.

"GateHouse remains firmly committed to serving the people of southeastern Illinois," Publisher Kevin Haezebroek said.

"By combining resources to one location, we believe we will be able to deliver a very strong package of advertising and editorial material to the area. GateHouse across the country has been innovative in serving the readers. We believe we hold a strong position of leadership in this area."

The Money Stretcher will retain its phone number of (618) 268-6291, fax (618) 268-4325 and mailing address of P.O. Box 99, Galatia, Ill. 62935.
