Wednesday a new concrete floor was poured and leveled by Womack's Concrete Construction and Steve King was operating a trowel machine to put a smooth surface on the floor.
The restaurant is owned by Scott Stout and will be a family oriented sports bar with a menu that includes salads, sandwiches and more at night with a daily special offered. It will have a full service bar and cater to everyone, said Stout.
He said the building — most recently the location of Blankenship Auto Parts — was built in 1884 and Stout said he is using all local contractors and businesses for the job.
