Southern Illinois’ largest Cal Spas dealer announced that it has opened a brand new store in Mt. Vernon.
Paradise Pools and Spas opened the doors of its newest store at 610 South 42nd St. on Dec. 1, 2011.
The store will celebrate its grand opening April 27-29, 2012, with specials and festivities throughout the weekend.
“Paradise Pools and Spas is proud to be opening a new store location this year to serve our customers and add a few jobs in Southern Illinois,” said Benton native Karl Metzger, owner, Paradise Pools and Spas. “Our new stores will offer customers an extensive selection of swimming pool supplies, pool equipment, spas and spa supplies.
“Paradise Pools and Spas’ professional staff provides detailed, knowledgeable information needed by customers for their pool and spa care. All of our store locations provide free water testing. Additionally, all customers visiting any of our stores over the April 27-29 weekend will receive 15 percent off their entire pool or spa chemical and supplies,” Metzger added.
The new store will be open seven days a week in the summer.
Brandie Jackson will serve as store manager of the new Paradise Pools and Spas store, and she brings several years of experience in the pool and spa industry, Metzger said.
Paradise Pools and Spas is a locally owned and operated company in Southern Illinois. The business now has three convenient locations in Carterville, Du Quoin and Mt. Vernon.
“We offer a complete line of Cal Spas spas, Doughboy pools, Baquacil and Poolife pool chemicals, and all of the accessories you could ever need for your pool and spa,” Metzger said.

Metzger said Paradise Pool and Spas Du Quoin location has undergone a complete remodel and is fully operational following the April storm last year that took the roof off of the store.
The store is fully stocked with to serve all its customers’ pool and spa needs.

The Du Quoin store is located at 10 S. Washington, and the Carterville store is located at 209 Commercial Drive.
