Harrisburg gets non-conference win at Meridian

Harrisburg put three players in double figures, including a game-high 20 points from Andrew Bittle, while Will Gibbs put up 19 points and Michael Godsey scored 17 points as the Bulldogs posted a 76-67 win at Meridian in non-conference action Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs (10-12) got six points from Zayne Hayes and another four points from Brannden Watson in the road win.
It was a third quarter outburst, where Harrisburg outscored Meridian 26-13 to take a 54-45 lead. In the first quarter, Harrisburg outscored the Bobcats, but MHS used a 17-8 run in the second quarter to take a 32-28 halftime lead.
Gallatin County 58, Thompsonville 55 2OT
Dawson Hish scored a game-high 26 points for Gallatin County and Gunner Wilson countered with 11 points as Gallatin County scored a 58-55 double overtime win over Greater Egyptian Conference foe Thompsonville Tuesday night.
Gallatin County improves to 8-16 overall and 3-4 in GEC play, while Thompsonville is now 6-19 on the season and 2-7 in the conference.
Case Rister added eight points for the Hawks, while Garrett Crane scored seven points. Michael Scherrer finished with four points and Will Henson tacked on two points.
Gallatin County battled back from a 12-2 first quarter deficit to outscore Thomsponville 13-12, but still trailed 24-15 at the break.
In the third quarter, Gallatin County outscored Thomsponville 8-5 and 15-9 in the fourth to knot the game at 38-all.
In the first OT, each team combined for eight points as Hish did most of the work and in the second OT, the Hawks outscored the Tigers 12-9.
Carmi-White County 55, Eldorado 44
Eldorado got a pair of 16-point scoring performances from both Aiden Whitlock and Ladayyea Shewmaker, but it wasn't enough in a 55-44 loss to Carmi-White County Tuesday night on the road in Black Diamond Conference action.
The Bulldogs (14-13 overall, 5-3 BDC) got a game-high 19 points from Devin Rankin, while Ethan Mahon and Peyton Edwards each scored 13 points in the victory.
Ty Barbre chipped in with seven points and Kacee Fulkerson tacked on three in the win for the Bulldogs.
Eldorado (18-8, 5-3 BDC) got six points from Parker Price and three points from both Hunter Sizemore and Bryant Byrd, while Nolan Milligan tacked on two points.
Eldorado jumped out to a 12-5 first quarter lead, but CWC went on a 20-10 run in the second quarter to build a 25-22 lead at halftime.
In the third, Eldorado outscored CWC 15-12 to tie the game at 37, but in the final eight minutes, the Bulldogs held off any rally by Eldorado, outscoring them 18-9.
