Eagles stay perfect with win over WF

Eldorado hung on late and stayed perfect on the season, beating West Frankfort 49-48 Tuesday night.
The Eagles (7-0) put two players in double figures as Ladayyea Shewmaker led all scorers with 13 points and Aiden Whitlock tacked on 12 as EHS went wire-to-wire for the win.
Nolan Milligan netted nine for Eldorado, while Bryant Byrd scored seven points, Hunter Sizemore chipped in with six points and Parker Price tossed in two points.
Quincy King tossed in 12 points and Ethan Culley tacked on 11 points for West Frankfort.
Crab Orchard 72, Gallatin County 40
Dawson Hish put up 17 points for Gallatin County, but the Hawks lost their fourth straight game, falling to Crab Orchard 72-40 Tuesday night.
The Trojans put two players over the 30-point mark, while Crab Orchard jumped out to a 19-11 first quarter lead and led 35-21 at halftime.
Will Henson chipped in with six points, while Gunner Wilson and Case Rister each finished with five points. Michael Scherrer scored four points and Garrett Crane tacked on three points.
Gallatin County is scheduled to host NCOE tonight (Friday) in a Homecoming game.
