Sesser-Valier-Waltonvill outscored Eldorado three scores to one and knocked the Eagles out of the ranks of unbeaten as the Red Devils stole a 36-16 win at home in Black Diamond Conference action.
Eldorado (3-1) led 8-6 early after Jacob Etienne scored from 13 yards out and Lydayyea Shewmaker put in the two-point conversion.
S-V-W (3-1) regained the lead at 14-6 before halftime and started the second half much like they left the first.
Jaden Lance, who scored Sesser's first TD of the game, took the second half kickoff 56 yards and the Red Devils added another score to open the fourth quarter when Red Devils' QB {Eaton Bates called his own number and found pay dirt from one-yard out that put S-V-W up three scores.
Eldorado mounted a small rally when Aiden Whitlock hooked up with Etienne from 20 yards out and Whitlock provided the two-point conversion.
The EHS defense came up with a interception, but then turned the ball over, which followed a Tanner Eubanks TD.
Eldorado outgained S-V-W in total offense 421-313 as the Eagles rushed for 264 and threw for 157.
Whitlock was 10-for-24 with a touchdown for EHS under center and Etienne was the Eagles' top rusher, racking up 91 yards on 13 carries and a TD.
Lance led the Red Devils' ground game, going for 116 yards on 15 carries and two touchdowns.
The home game for S-V-W was the first of the season for the Red Devils, who opened the season with three straight road games. Also on Saturday, the Red Devils were named the 103.5 ESPN Team Of The Week.
Also in the BDC, Carmi-White County edged Edwards County 16-14; Chester beat Hamilton County 33-13 and Fairfield remained the only undefeated team in the league with a 42-0 win over C-Z-R. Through four games this year, Fairfield has yet to give up a touchdown and have outscored the opposition 146-0.
