Kerrigan Payne went the distance and improved to 12-2 in the circle as Harrisburg blanked Herrin 7-0 Tuesday in Southern Illinois River-To-River Ohio action.
Payne scattered five hits and struck out five, while walking just one.
Essence Sanders went 2-for-3, including a three-run home run in the fifth inning, while Madeline Rider and Karsyn Davis each had multiple hits and Davis finished with two RBI.
Mya King and MaKayla Payne each had one hit, while Payne had two RBI, including a big hit with two outs in the fourth inning.

Edwards County 6, Eldorado 2
Edwards County scored early, putting up three runs in the first inning, followed by a run in the second and third inning to post a 6-2 win over Eldorado.
Eldorado scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh rally as their comeback came up short.
Paige Munds was 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI, while Lexie Mitchell, Cathlene Green, Emma Wargel and Alexa Haenel all had one hit.

Gallatin County 9, Carrier Mills 7
Audrey Jackson picked up her first win of the season, pitching Gallatin County to a 9-7 win over Carrier Mills-Stonefort.
Jackson went the distance and allowed seven runs (three earned) on nine hits, while striking out five and walking four.
At the plate, Megan Morgan was 4-for-5 , while Emma Brockett, R. Brockett and Jackson all had two hits.

MONDAY
Murphysboro 8, Harrisburg 3
Madeline Rider led off the game with a solo home run, but Harrisburg's offense stalled in an 8-3 loss at Murphsyboro Monday.
Essence Sanders and Rider both went 2-for-3 while Kerrigan Payne was 1-for-3.
Payne took the loss in the circle, going six innings and allowed eight runs (two earned) on 11 hits, while striking out two and walking two.
