For the first time this season, the Harrisburg baseball team was shut out and it xacost them a Southern Illinois River-To-River Ohio Conference game.
West Frankfort blanked Harrisburg 10-0 Monday as the Redbirds outhit Harrisburg 8-1.
The Bulldogs' lone hit came from Jack Martin, who ripped a single into right center field in the top of the fourth inning.
On the mound, Issac Crabb took the loss, going 2.1 innings and allowing six runs (three earned) on three hits, while striking out three and walking six. Brandon Banks came on in relief and worked two innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits, while striking out one and walking two.
Harrisburg was slated to host Massac County Tuesday and will play host to Benton on Thursday, followed by a home game against Carlisle County, Ky., Saturday.

Eldorado 7, Carrier Mills-Stonefort 4
Eldorado picked up a non-conference win over cross country rival Carrier Mills-Stonefort Monday as the Eagles outhit the Wildcats 10-3.
Joe Mayberry paced the Eagles at the plate, going 3-for-4, while Bryant Byrd was 2-for-4 and Dalton White was 2-for-2
Colton Betz led CMSF at the dish, going 2-for-3.
Eldorado struck in the first inning, plating two runs, when Mayberry doubled and that followed a pair of walks from Nolan Milligan and Braden Unthank. White then delivered a two-run single.
The Wildcats grabbed the lead in the bottom of the inning when Roston Lewis walked and Betz singled, setting up an RBI single by Jeremy Choat. Walks to Brandon Hambleton, Trent Winchester and Kyle Bristol scored two more runs.
In the second, Byrd doubled, scoring Mayberry for another run and in the fourth Mayberry scored the Eagles' fourth run to give the visitors the lead.
Eldorado then tacked on three more runs, holding off a late rally by CSMF, who scored one run in the bottom of the seventh.
Dalton White went six innings, allowing three runs on three hits, while walking five. Hunter Sizemore came on in relief and allowed one run and walking one.
Trent Winchester got the start for CMSF, going 5.1 innings, allowing seven runs on nine hits, while walking three. Brandon Hambleton went 2.2 innings, scattering one hit.

Goreville 10, Gallatin County 2
Gallatin County used four pitchers in a 10-2 loss to Goreville Monday.
Blake Seely went four innings and allowed seven runs (four earned) on seven hits, while striking out three and walking two.
Robbie Prince came on in relief and pitched one inning, allowing one run on one hit, while striking out two. Dalton Drone followed Prince and gave up two runs on no hits, while walking three and Brock Seely finished things out, giving up a hit, while walking one.
At the plate, the Hawks had nine hits on the day as both Blake and Brock Seely had multiple hit days, as did, Drake Scherrer, who went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Brock Seely also scored a run, while Grant Bosaw, Wyatt Downen and Audie Goebel each had one hit.
Gallatin County currently sits at 6-2 overall and are 4-0 in the Greater Egyptian Conference.

Zeigler-Royalton 11, Galatia 1
Braxton Lane was 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and scored Galatia's only run in an 11-1 loss Monday against Zeigler-Royalton.
Klayton Wright pitched four innings and gave up one earned run as the Tornado scored five unearned off Wright. Nick Triplett gave up six and walked 11 as the Bearcat defense made five errors on the day.
