Thompsonville cruises past Crab Orchard

CRAB ORCHARD -- Anthony Darge led four players in double figures with 18 points as Thompsonville rolled to an 86-38 win over Crab Orchard in a Greater Egyptian Conference game Tuesday night.
Thompsonville improved to 18-2 overall and 6-0 in the GEC, while Crab Orchard dipped to 13-7 and 3-3.
Darge had nine of his points in the third quarter, when Thompsonville outscored the Trojans, 28-9.
Corbin Fitch added 17 points, Reed Raubach had 12 and Trey Bybee had 11 with three 3-pointers for the Tigers. Tyson Kessler and Peyton Roberts both added seven and Tyler Jones had six.
Crab Orchard's Keegan Peek led all scorers with 22 points, which came in three quarters. Peek had four 3-pointers. Hunter Throgmorton added nine points for the Trojans.
Crab Orchard plays Friday night at Vandalia.
