Wildcats fall to Carbondale at home

MARION -- The Marion High School boys basketball team suffered a 46-34 loss at home Friday night to Carbondale to remain winless in South Seven Conference games.
Marion's record evened to 8-8 overall and 0-4 in the South Seven. Carbondale improved to 14-3.
Carbondale led 10-8 after the first quarter and 22-21 at halftime. The Terriers' lead was 29-25 after three quarters.
Boston Ziegler led Marion with 10 points. Hunter Campbell had seven, all in the first half.
Jackson Connor, coming off a career-high 37-point game, had four points.
Korey Houston and Mitchell Jackson also had four and Rayzhaun Bardo had three. Frankie Horner had two points.
Tavaris Macklin led Carbondale with 16 points. Clayton Greer had 12 and Davaris Macklin had 11.
Marion plays again Saturday night at Harrisburg.
