Lady Indians fall at Nashville

NASHVILLE -- Emily Stern scored 18 points and Alyssa Cole had 13 as Nashville downed the Du Quoin High School girls basketball team, 50-32, in an SIRR Mississippi Division game Thursday night at Assembly Hall.
Nashville scored the game's first six points and led 23-10 after the first quarter. The lead was 34-22 at the half with Stern collecting 14 of those points.
Nashville's lead was 40-27 entering the fourth quarter.
Delaynie Dearmond led Du Quoin with 10 points. Ayanna Dunklin had eight and Chloe Hill had six. Elizabeth Bird played for the first time since suffering a leg injury in the opening week of the season and scored one point.
