Eldorado falls in three sets at Z-R

The Eldorado volleyball team dropped a hard-fought three set match to Zeigler-Royalton Tuesday night, losing the first match 25-15, winning the second 25-16 and falling in the third 20-25.
Jade Hise shined at the net with 11 kills against the Tornado, coming up with 25 digs and going 23-25 on spikes, while Emma Wargel came up with 12 blocks and four kills. Wargel was 13-15 on spikes and 9-12 on serves with 13 points. Lauryn Hampton went 15-17 serving with 18 points and was 20-22 on sets, while Briley Lenkaitis was 16-19 on spikes with two kills and 6-8 on serves with seven points, five blocks, one kill and 23 digs.
Paige Munds was 35-26 on sets and 7-7 on serves with seven points and 22 digs. Kyla Pilkington was 5-7 on serves with seven points, while Kynzie Sizemore was 14-15 on spikes with two kills. Kianna Roberts had 11 digs, Lexie Mitchell had 13 digs, Lacey Hobbs was 1-1 on spikes and Baleigh Barton finished 4-4 on sets.
The EHS junior varsity team notched a straight set win, beating Z-R 25-20 and 25-23.
