DU QUOIN -- The Du Quoin High School volleyball team served 11 aces and rolled to a 25-13, 25-13 victory over Anna-Jonesboro for a conference win Thursday night.
Du Quoin improved to 16-5 overall and 3-1 in the SIRR MIssissippi Division with the victory.
Meryn Gross, Delaynie Dearmond and Elizabeth Bird all served three aces and Morgan Bullar had two.
Katie Smith didn't have an ace but she did serve 11 points, including a string of seven straight.
Gross had 13 assists and three kills, with Bird swatting seven kills.
Lauren Heape added three kills, while Haley Williams and Cammi Knapp both had two. Also collecting kills were Lauren Cravens and Ayanna Dunklin.
Defensively, Bullar had six digs, Grace Alongi had five and both Smith and Dearmond had four.
Du Quoin plays at Nashville on Tuesday, travels to Carterville on Thursday.
