Marion boys golf team tops Orphans with tiebreaker

MARION -- Four players weren't enough to decide a winner when Marion and Centralia clashed in a boys golf match Monday at Kokopelli.
Both teams totaled 166 with their top four so it went to a fifth-man tiebreaker and the Wildcats won with that criteria.
Marion's Isaac Hammet was the medalist with a 36, followed by Cooper Smith at 39, then Karsten Stotlar at 45.
The other three varsity Wildcats -- Brett Lewis, Hayden Burns and Hunter Henry -- all carded 46 and Centralia's fifth score came in at 47.
Matt Garnier led the Orphans with a 39.
