EHS falls short in upset bid over Hamilton County

The Eldorado varsity volleyball team fell short in their bid to beat Hamilton County Tuesday night, falling 25-21 and 25-15 to the Foxes.
EHS head coach Lisa Craig called it the best game the girls have played this year and probably the best that this group has played in several years.
"I was so proud of their play, their energy and their team work. They are improving everyday and their confidence is rising."
Briley Lenkaitis led the Eagles with 9-11 spikes, 7-7 serves with 6 points, two blocks and 14 digs. Emma Wargel was 9-10 spikes with four kills, 5-5 serves and had five blocks. Jade Hise was 13-15 spikes with one kill and was 5-6 serves with 7 points. Kynzie Sizemore was 6-6 spikes with two kills, while Lauryn Hampton led in sets going 15-16 and Paige Munds had 13 digs and eight sets.
The Eldorado junior varsity team lost and the Eagles will return to action Monday against Gallatin County at Duff-Kingston Gymnasium.
