SALEM -- The Marion High School volleyball team beat Salem for the second time this season Monday night.
After previously defeating Salem at Carbondale's tournament, this time Marion traveled to B.E. Gum Gymnasium and rolled to a 25-21, 25-20 sweep.
Kaylee Evans had 19 assists, Tori Evans served two aces, Jordan Turner had 16 digs, Kylie Plant had 15 digs and 11 kills, Ivy Smart had seven kills and Jackie Drury served an ace in the win.
Marion's record moved to 5-5 with the win.
Salem won the JV match in three games and the freshman match was a split.
Marion hosts Mt. Vernon on Thursday, then plays in Massac County's Superman Slam tournament on Saturday.
