HERRIN -- The Marion Junior High School Baseball team rolled to an 18-6 six-inning win over Herrin for a Big Seven Conference win Tuesday.
The Wildcats improved to 7-1 overall and 5-1 in the Big Seven with the win.
Justus Lee went 4-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs scored, while five other players had two hits apiece for the Wildcats.
Those five were Ethen Travelstead, Brody Larson, Nehemiah Goodman, Brody Long and Chase Niemeyer. Travelstead drove in three runs, Long brought in two and Larson homered in the rout.
Cooper Thompson also hit a two-run homer for Marion.
Lee pitched the first two innings and Brady Jackson went four frames on the hill.
