MJHS baseball rolls past West Frankfort

MARION -- The Marion Junior High School baseball team rolled to a 13-2, five-inning win over West Frankfort on Thursday at the Crisp Sports Complex.
MJHS improved to 5-1 overall and 4-1 in the Big Seven with the win.
Every player in the Marion lineup scored a run, most of them coming in a seven-run rally in the fourth inning.
Nehemiah Goodman went 4-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored, while Ethen Travelstead went 3-for-3 with two RBIs.
Chase Niemeyer and Brody Larson both added two hits and Larson drove in three runs.
