PINCKNEYVILLE -- Lynlee Lindner drove in the only run of the game in the sixth inning as Pinckneyville High School's softball team edged Benton, 1-0, Tuesday in a non-conference game that also served as Senior Day.
Mariah Clark pitched a one-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts and also hit a double for the Lady Panthers, who improved to 25-4.
Megan Mayo had two of Pinckneyville's seven hits.
Pinckneyville honored its seven seniors: Emma Banach, Clark, Daisy Dudek, Josie Gleason, Kylee Kling, Mayo and Lydia Pestka.
