MARION -- The Marion High School baseball team swept a doubleheader against Cahokia, 10-0 and 13-0, Thursday at the Crisp Sports Complex.
Marion's records moved to 9-4 overall and 4-2 in the South Seven with the wins.
D.J. Tucker pitched the first game and gave up just one hit in five innings.
Drake Gravatt tripled and scored in the first inning, then hit a two-run double in the third and also scored after walking in the fourth.
Austin Palmer pitched the second game and also gave up just one hit in five innings. Palmer struck out 10 and also had two hits at the plate.
Ryan Trokey had two hits and drove in three runs, while Cavan Cameron and David Fletcher both had a pair of hits and an RBI.
